As a software engineer, I had the pleasure of working with Barry on the development of a new Chromatic lab instrument used for product testing. Barry performed the roles of a both a system engineer and project manager.

Due to the complexity of the project, I discussed design issues on a daily basis and developed a great working relationship with Barry. His goals were clear, and he was able to resolve difficult system integration issues.

His ability to focus and problem solve along with his professional attitude and clear communication skills not only gave me great confidence but make this one of the most enjoyable projects I have worked on.

The successful outcome of this project can be largely attributed to Barry's systems’ engineering and project management skills. I would love to work with Barry on any future projects.

In business one of the keys to success are having leaders that relish change, not to change, but when it is needed and in strategic processes to improve results and reduce complexity, and this is another area where Barry excels.

In the years I've known Barry he has always delivered frank assessments of situations, different solutions, with the added values of insight, humor, and improved outcomes. Barry is an individual that anyone would want on their team when looking for the best. 

When I worked with Barry at First Marketing, I was most impressed by his approach to challenges. He was quick to assess a situation by considering the immediate and long-term impacts and then offer his strategic vision for how to best facilitate change. In the mid-90s, Barry challenged status quo and encouraged the company to explore the potential of this new-fangled technology called the Internet. He and a co-worker combined to define the foundation of the company's foray into cyberspace, a significant task at the time because very few in leadership positions saw its potential. Barry's intelligence and willingness to dive deep into the Internet phenomena was a catalyst for change in our corporate culture. Without question, Barry is one of the smartest people I've encountered in my 24 years in the marketing world.
